All Funeral Directors are legally required to publish this price list for a standardised set of products and services. This is to help you think through your options and make choices, and to let you compare prices between different Funeral Directors (because prices can vary). Standardised price list 2024.
Attended Funeral (funeral directors charges only)

This is a funeral where family and friends have a ceremony, event or service for the deceased person at the same time as they attend their burial or cremation.
Taking care of all necessary legal and administrative arrangements

Collecting and transporting the deceased person from the place of death (normally within 20 miles of the funeral directors premises) into the funeral directors care.

Care of the deceased person before the funeral in appropriate facilities. The deceased person will be kept at the funeral directors non branch premises.

Providing a suitable coffin - this will be made from an oak foil veneer wood effect coffin, with flat lid & plain sides and engraved name plate.

Viewing of the deceased person for family and friends, by appointment with the funeral director (where viewing is requested by the customer)

The funeral director can give you a full list of what they can supply. They are likely to charge for these additional products and services, so you may choose to take care of some arrangements without their involvement, or you can use a different supplier.
1 This fee (which is sometimes called the interment fee) is the charge made for digging and closing a new grave, or for reopening and closing an existing grave.
2 In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you will usually need to pay doctors' fees as well. This is the charge for two doctors to sign the Medical Certificate for Cremation.

Terms of Business
A) Full payment 48 hours prior to the committal for Unattended, The Sunrise, The Twilight and The Daylight packages.
B) Full payment of the disbursements 48 hours prior to the cremation or burial attended, Back To Nature and for The Forget Me Not funeral services.
C) Full payment is required 21 days from the date of the final invoice.
D) Failure to pay on the due date for any services provided to you, we may charge you interest at a rate of 4% above our banks base rate and from time to .....time in force:
.....-Calculated (on a daily basis from the date of our account until payment.
.....-Compounded on the first day of each month
.....-Before and after judgement (unless a court order otherwise) we may recover under the indemnity clause below the cost of taking
......legal action to make you pay.
Indemnity
You are to indemnify us in full and hold us harmless from all expenses and liabilities we may incur (directly or indirectly including financing costs add including costs of a full indemnity basis) following any breach by you of any of your obligations under their terms.
This means that you are liable to us for losses we incur because you do not comply with these terms. For example, we will charge you an administration fee where we receive a cheque from you which is subsequently not honoured or if we write to remind you that an account is overdue. If we instruct debt collection agents, we may also recover from you the fees we incur. Further details regarding these fees are available on request. We may claim those losses from you at any time and if we must take legal action we will ask the court to make you pay our legal costs.

Forget Me Not - Bespoke Funerals
Unattended direct cremation no mourners.
This is the Low cost package where we take your loved one directly to the crematorium to be cremated with no mourners in attendance.
*Documentation liaising with third parties and taking care of all necessary legal and administrative arrangements.
*Conveyance of the deceased into our care from hospital within 20 miles of The Bingley Chapel of Rest.
*Care of the deceased at the Bingley Chapel Of Rest.
*Provision of the Hothfield Coffin, simple oak foil veneer wood effect coffin , with a respectable Gown.
*Transportation of the deceased to the crematorium in a dignified vehicle.
*Collection of cremated remains from the crematorium.

*Service held at Bingley Chapel of Rest, which seats 30 in comfort.
*Conveyance of the deceased into our care from hospital within 20 miles of the Bingley Chapel of Rest.

The woodland burial option for interments held at Tarnmoor Memorial Woodland, Skipton or Brocklands Woodland Burial Ground, Rathmell, Settle. The green environmentally friendly approach.
Stepping away from the traditional burial in a cemetery or Churchyard. After a woodland burial and your loved one has been laid to rest Letting nature take its course, with the help of planting a tree, wildflower bulbs or a shrub.
*Documentation, liaising with third parties and taking care of all necessary Legal and Administrative arrangements.
